In 1970 she traveled to California to visit her mother-in-law, who just happened to have a Keeshond bitch by the name of Percy. Mary Ellen will never forget Percy. It was love at first sight. So in 1971 Mary Ellen purchased her first Keeshond. Over the years, Mary Ellen's love for Keeshonden has grown. The Kees featured below have been members of her family. Each one was loved as a part of the family and will never be forgotten.
